Why Buy a Double Running Buggy?
Traditional strollers are ideal for day-to-day use, but if would like to run with your children, then you'll need a double-running buggy. They are specifically designed for jogging, and have large wheels, air-filled tyres and usually the front wheel locks to provide additional suspension.
Side-by-side models like the Mountain Buggy Duet and Out'n'About Nipper Sport Double V4 are ideal for jogging on occasion or more intense runners are likely to prefer the more advanced double-running pushchairs like the Thule Cheetah 2 bike trailer.
Safety
Double running buggys have three or four wheels, much like a pram. However they tend to be larger and the front wheel is locked to provide extra control and suspension. The handlebar will usually have a brake (similar to bicycles) to stop your buggy quickly, and most come with a strap for your wrist for added safety. Some also have a slightly reclined seating to give you more comfort while your kids are having a nap or eating. Remember that tandem double stroller should be at least nine months old before jogging in a buggy, and only if they're able to sit comfortably in it for extended periods of time.
