Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a light double stroller weight and fold size are the most important aspects to take into consideration. When not in use, choose one that is easy to maneuver and small in size. This will make it easier to store in your car trunk, and also to navigate through airport gates and foreign roads.
The most lightweight strollers have a simple, easy fold that allows them to stand up on their own. This helps reduce stress on the parent's body. Many strollers have various seating options and some can even accommodate infant car seats.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The design is geared towards families who are constantly on the move. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. The front suspension and all-terrain wheel as well as the multi-position reclining seats, can accommodate children weighing up 50 pounds. The tray for parents and kids as well as a large storage bin and 3-tiered extended canopy with peekaboo window provide maximum sun protection.
The Cloud received one of the lowest scores in our quality tests due to a flimsy feel as well as hard plastic seats and a design that seems outdated. It's also more expensive than other strollers with lighter weights, so it's not a good choice when you're looking for an economical option.
It's not the tiniest stroller, but it has enough features to be worth a look. Its swiveling front wheel makes it easy to maneuver on flat surfaces and it can leap over curbs with little effort, unlike many other lightweight strollers that diverge when trying to accomplish the same thing. The low handle of the Cloud is a disadvantage, however; it's nearly at knee level and isn't adjustable. It's uncomfortable to push with your legs suspended in the air like that and it's also not helping that it's not padded.
During our testing, we found the Cloud to be easy to open and set up. It's a little more difficult to close, however. You must slide a slider and then pull a big white button to cause it to collapse. This can be frustrating especially if you're trying to manage kids at the same time.
The Cloud comes with a compact but deep storage basket. It's large enough to accommodate a large diaper bag. The basket is a bit small and you might have to leave something in there to reach the back. The Cloud includes two tray for parents and children with two cup holders each however they're both too narrow to comfortably hold larger cups or bottles.
The Kolcraft brand has been around since 1946 and is a third-generation, family-owned company. The company is located in Chicago and is an American manufacturer.

The stroller comes with an umbrella sun canopy with three panels and each seat comes with its own cupholder and snack tray.

The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's pretty comparable to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it has some key distinctions. It's more expensive, but has a better sun canopy and more maneuverability. It has a convenient strap for carrying and can be used by kids weighing up to 44 pounds for each seat.
Summer 3D Pac for Infants CS+
Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is a lightweight stroller with a lot of features. It's not just lightweight, weighing just 13 pounds but also has plenty of storage space, including cup holders for the parent and child, a child's sippy-cup pouch, a parent's storage pocket and more. It can be transformed from a baby stroller into an adult stroller by attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months and older.
Another thing to consider about this stroller is that it has swivel wheels and doesn't have any locking features which means it won't be the best option for terrain that is rocky or hilly. It's still a good option for most families, as it can be easily maneuvered on pavements and other smooth surfaces.
This stroller is among the lightest double strollers that has large features in an elegant compact design. The stroller is also available with the Yoyo+ Board which transforms it into a tandem.
Joovy X2 Kooper
The Kooper X2 double stroller is an excellent choice for parents who want a lightweight double that can accommodate two children. The sling-style seats are comfy and provide a similar amount of headroom, allowing children to be seated side-by-side. The Kooper X2 is unique in that it comes with a completely reclining seat, which makes it a fantastic choice for nap time. The recline feature is simple to use, but it's not really flat. Taller children may have a leg hanging when in reclined mode. It also has a big canopy that we found to be more effective at blocking out the sun than other options in our evaluation of the top double strollers.

The stroller is lightweight enough to be able to maneuver through door frames. This was a major issue with other strollers we tried. It folds quickly and the handlebars are close to the ground for easy transportation. Its only flaw is its small storage space, which feels tight when stuffed with kid stuff.
Joovy is a family-owned business, creates innovative, functional and high-quality baby products. Their line of products includes innovative baby bottles, such as the Joovy Zoom X2 Double stroller and an innovative raincover that fits an array of popular strollers. The bottles are reasonably priced and usually have appealing designs that appeal to children.
In our tests on double strollers , we evaluate multiple factors to determine how easy an item is to use, including how easy it is to set up and fold and adjust the safety harness as well as close and open the brakes, lift and carry the folded stroller as if placing it in a trunk of a car, and install and remove the infant car seat (if applicable). We also assessed the strength and durability, as well as whether each model has a tray for parents that can accommodate both child trays.
The Joovy Kooper X2 received the highest score in our Strollers Test Program for its user-friendliness. It also received the highest score in our latest guide to the best double strollers. Its simple-to-use design features an easy-to-use, tilt-free recline with one hand with a huge canopy that can rotate forward to provide shade, a ventilation mesh that you can see through when it's tilted, individual kid trays with built-in cupholders, zipper parent pockets as well as a huge storage basket.
